erotica workshop report

salixbabylonLast night I dragged a friend to a discussion/lecture/workshop/thingy "The Sensual Secrets of Writing Erotica." Not very informative as I seem to have already successfully overcome my fears of writing down sexy thoughts. *g*
Did pick up some interesting ideas/perspectives though, got some tips on how to get into being published, and heard some amusing anecdotes from a straight man writing gay fiction...
Oh, and one of the presenters was a total hottie, so I got to drool a bit, too! Mmm, she was luscious...
This weekend's writing plans and plans to re-read GoF have been preempted by an unplanned trip to my dad's house... Blech.
Maybe I'll just try to crank through the RL/SB FQF story tonight. It's all outlined, and about 1/3 written, but it's in an odd tone of voice that I don't think I've ever written before and have some doubts about maintaining consistently...
