shopping extravaganza

Went clothes shopping with a wonderful friend sarafoop today and bought a simply RIDICULOUS amount of clothing, but I so totally scored that I couldn't NOT buy:

- 2 button-down blouses which actually fit over my huge breasts and then go *in* to accent my waist (goddess bless darting)
- 1 pair of definite Mistress Shoes that I don't intend to ever wear anywhere not carpeted, but will look lovely with my husband's lips on them
- 2 pairs of thigh-high stockings that *fit* and *stay up*
- 1 irrevocably "Naughty Librarian" button-down pinstriped vest
- 1 black suede-ish lace-up-the-back Total Domme Skirt

and

- 1 pair of black work trousers
- 1 pair of jeans that are actually stylish *and* fit -- and sarafoop made appreciative noises at my ass in them
- 2 pairs of tights
- and a Real Grown-Up Suit (trousers, jacket, 2 tops, and a necklace) -- I have never *ever* owned even a blazer/jacket, but for some reason my intuition has been telling me I really need a suit SOON.

Oh, and gym/yoga clothes (pants and 2 tops)

And the item that I actually went shopping for:



Can you believe, they were $5. Yes, FIVE. Dollars. American money, 1, 2 ,3, 4, *5*! And they fit. And am I the only one who thinks they look similar to the ones in my icon? Hmmm?

Total damage = $450
but = 13 items of clothing, 2 pairs of shoes, 4 lingerie, 1 necklace

Did I do well or should I be embarrassed at spending so much on myself in one day?

If you shopped like that every week, you might have to worry, but splurging on yourself once in a while is permitted! And it sounds like you got a lot for your money. Love the dom!boots, those were *definitely* a steal!!

Yay, I'm forgiven. :) That's what my husband said, too - birthday money plus a one-time-splurge isn't such a bad thing.

Depends what you wear with them... a black leather bustier and mini-skirt with fishnets and lots of chains would probably be a bit much. But wearing them with the button-down blouses and black trousers - or even the Grown-up Suit - would be just fine.

Maybe I just need a new job...

A job where you *could* wear the black leather with them actually sounds more interesting than the one you have now...
