Remus/Sirius Recs
Jul. 8th, 2003 08:01 pmA few people have mentioned wanting more Remus/Sirius lately, so I thought I'd throw up a few from my recs list:
A few stories:
Hunger by Dawnatello is very nice, great ambiance. Set while they're in school. NC-17
Clued by Ailei is an amazing series. She breaks my brain, with her heart-wrenchingly honest pain. Her "Drawing Down the Moon" series with Khirsah is also brilliant and poignant, but isn't finished! Gods, I hate that! *g* This bit is backstory for an RPG. It includes a trio with James, and is also set while they're all in school. NC-17
And of course how could I not encourage anyone who hasn't read the Lost Feelings Series by Minx to so do as quickly as possible? Remus/Severus, Remus/Sirius, Harry/Severus. Long and complex storyline with a wonderfully strong Remus, to contrast against all those girly-Remus' out there. Delicious! From Voldemort's downfall to past Harry's graduation. NC-17
Love in the Ruins by CLS always strikes me as humorous. I'm not sure if that was her explicit intent or not, but I like it. Post-Azkaban, and also NC-17. (Noticing a trend here? *g*)
And I'm currently reading Thing by Cimorene and Wax Jism, and since I'm not finished I can't really comment other than to say that she does post-Azkaban Sirius WONDERFULLY and the mood/tone is really nice. I'm not sure of the rating.
And of course there are several archives out there:
Azkaban's Lair
Red Moon Rising
The Howl Kingdom
and
Happy Valley Puppy Farm
All of those have provided many hours of enjoyable reading.
