hits and misses

Hits:
- finished ALL of my holiday shopping
- finished making Yule gifts for my coven
- planned a menu for Yule that won't drive me crazy AND includes food for the diabetics AND for the vegans
- finished writing the first draft of my E/E fic for heartofslash's bday/winter holiday gift
- finally made my Ewan moodtheme work
- got all tarted up for the first holiday party and liked how I looked
- port in December. GOds, I love port.

Misses:
- hangover for the first time in years
- tried to see "Brokeback Mountain" but the power in the movie theater went out about 15 minutes before the ending. It was like being interrupted mid-coitus. We have free tickets to go see it again, though, but I don't have time for at least a week. :P
- rain, buckets and buckets of it, which makes the dog vibrate and be underfoot in my lap. Not fun when we're talking a WET 90-pound golden retriever.
- ate OMG way way wayaywayWAY too much candy

No kidding -- every recipe I have that's vegan has sugar, and everyhting that's sugar-free has butter or cheese. I think I found some nibbles for everyone, though. :)

just a wee hangover, more of a headache. that'll teach me to drink wine like some kind of sophisticate -- it's straight booze from here on out!
