Happy Lughnassadh!

I hope everyone's first harvest has been as bountiful as mine.

Since I'm fresh out of creativity and it's my turn to priestess, I decided to make tonight's ritual into a dinner party and have been cooking for the last few nights.

Tonight's Menu:
onion-rosemary herb bread
spinach & parsley soup
risotto with sundried tomatoes and artichoke hearts
eggplant patties with cacciatore sauce
peach and ollalieberry galette
farm-pressed apple juice
lots of wine

Finally finished the first draft of "Card Games" for the SS FQF! Yae! Finally!

But: BLECH! The ending just got SO SAPPY. Yuck. They were being all nice and snarky and just having a friendly shag and now they're all MUSHY. Afterglow, I tell you - it melts the muses' brains.

And the sex scene is having a massive "the other man" problem. Blarg.

Anyone have time for a quick-job beta? I like to try and get two different perspectives, and I'm especially feeling uncertain about this one since it's been so long since I've written anything explicit.

Details: Severus/Remus, NC17, 4218 words (10 pages), and since the fest deadline is August 10th, I need it back by the 8th at the latest.
