Blood is dripping down the side of Eric's finger and down the back of his hand. For what is probably a shallow cut, it sure is bleeding a lot. Bright red rivulets, thick, and Ewan licks his lips as his mouth waters.

Eric's hands are dirty with grime and grease from fiddling with something on his bike. Ewan's not sure what; he was lounging on an old sofa they dragged into the garage, reading a magazine and admiring Eric in nothing but cut-offs wallowing in his own testosterone. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

Eric made a slight yelp as god-knows-what happened and Ewan leaped up to see. Now blood is trickling down Eric's hand and for some reason Ewan's cock is throbbing.

There's a snorting noise from Eric, who has noticed. "Don't even think about it," he says, raising his hand level with his head and applying pressure to slow the bleeding.

"Too late."

"It's not safe."

Ewan shrugs. Duh. They gave up using condoms once they'd both been tested but... Blood is different.

"Bet you wish it was you, bleeding all over the place," Eric teases. "You're such a pain slut."

After considering that for a moment, Ewan shakes his head and shrugs again. "I don't think that's what this is. I think it's something more primal than that... Maybe because it's unsafe..."

Eric gives him a look that would make Ewan squirm usually, as if Eric was trying to read his mind. But Ewan's not sure what's in his mind right now so it doesn't fuss him.

After a moment Eric lets go of his hand. Deliberately, he brings it to the center of Ewan's chest. The blood feels wet and a bit cold in the wake of Eric's fingertip, as Eric traces a pattern which has meaning only for him. On Ewan's chest.

In blood.

Ewan feels marked in a way that bruises and scrapes and even his small scar never made him feel before. He can't find any words for it, even inside his own head, other than "primal."

And "yes."

Blood is life. Blood is magic.

And Eric's blood is marking him.

If Ewan gets any harder, he's going to burst out of his shorts. His body is tingling. His nipples are peaked and throbbing. He's losing the fight to control his breathing, to not gasp or groan the way he wants to.

He opens his eyes, which he didn't notice closing, and sees Eric. Not smirking or looking otherwise amused at discovering a new kink for Ewan. But serious, thoughtful, solemn.

Ewan shivers and breaks the spell.

"Come on," Eric murmurs, pulling Ewan close with his clean hand, their breath mingling in an almost-kiss. "I'm going to wash this off and then fuck you in the shower. Even once it's gone, you'll still be mine."

Wow....blood-play was always a bit of a squick for me. But your interpretation was pretty hot. I loved that idea of Eric 'marking' Ewan.
