The forest was full of soft sounds that afternoon: the cool trickle of a steam, the trills of various birds, the rustle of leaves stirred by a breeze. The lights and textures dazzled their eyes, soothing them as they let go of reality and let the forest take them into its secrets.
And then they came upon a scene of commotion - fur everywhere, shrieking, scolding, and a flurry of chase and capture. In short, two squirrels fucking.
"Just like teenagers," Viggo laughed. He winked at his partner, "You'd know all about that."
Orlando scowled, then pushed Viggo up against the tree. Their mouths met in a kiss intended to punish but transforming into shared arousal. Hands wandered, frustrating clothing was pushed aside, and Viggo groaned as Orlando knelt before him.
Then they both noticed how quiet the forest had become.
An acorn fell half an inch from Orlando's ear, followed by furious scolding from above.
"Guess we'd better go back to the car," Orlando laughed. "It appears this tree is already taken."
The sounds of the forest seemed to laugh with them as they sprinted through the trees, enjoying their own game of chase and anticipating a mutual capture.
