massive whangst

Yes it's true, Little Miss Sunshine Salix is having major angst today:

1) HP #7 in 4 days! OMFG! And I know JKR is going to murder someone I love. I don't know who, and I'm just totally in knots, alternately fretting over my beloved HarryRemusSnapeDracoRonHermioneForge and reminding myself that it's FICTION YOU DIMWIT.

And yet I'm still having chest-tightening anxiety. Probably doesn't help that I've been reading the books in every spare moment for the last two weeks and it's all I can think or dream about at night. OotP Harry is particularly difficult to relax after reading...

2) I sent out four query letters today to prospective publishers for my non-fiction book, "Wanton Hussy's Guide to Getting the Sex Life You've Always Wanted." Ever since I hit "send", I've had almost-but-not-quite full-out anxiety attacks - I feel nauseated and spastic and headachey and keep crying.

I need a drink or a hug or a smoke or a shag or something...

I am so with you on the stomach tightening anxiety. As Remus put it in my story "No Regrets", I've got 'unsettled feelings of anticipation and dread'.
