I finishedIfinishedIfinishedIfinishedWHOOO! Jesus fucking Christ, that took FOREVER! But I'm done! Of course it needs a rewrite before it even goes out for betaing, but DAMN, it feels SO GOOD to be done!
Sorry for the babble, I'm just deliriously happy and the dog doesn't seem to understand why. It took me FOREVER to write that damn sex scene, and I finally figured out why - one of the characters was just too drunk to really be explicitly consenting, in my mind. He wanted it, but when it came to it, he didn't really have a chance to say yes or no. So I scrapped rewrote the whole thing trying to get more into his head, trying to show how he could be consenting despite being completely wasted.
Made me remember a few things (good and bad and wonderful) about freshman year of college experiences...
