OK, I'm off to see my family for a few days. No computer access, so no replies to comments for a while - sorry. Only 48 hours but still, it might kill me. I'll attempt to be thankful for the opportunity to unplug. ;)

Before I go some HUGE thank-yous need to go out to my wonderful beta, sarka, who offered to beta "What Are Words For?" back when it was only 3 or 4 chapters, maybe 10k words tops, and stuck with me as it grew to 6 chapters and nearly 40k. She let me feed her bits, laughed in the right places, betaed super-fast, and made time in her really stressful graduate-school-abroad schedule just for me. I am so *so* thankful for you, for your time and patience and feedback and comma removal. You are a sweetheart.

In fact, all of my friends are awesome. Indeed, I am truly very thankful for all of you.
