update + humor + thoughtfulness
Apr. 7th, 2008 01:52 pm1) The Porn_Battle at insane journal is over! Holy frijole, what a lot of work that turned out to be! Blech. :P
2) My SPN-HIV fic is about 1/3 written, maybe more. I'm going to try to make the Friday deadline I set for myself, even if it kills me.
3) No one had links to kinky pictures or vids of Dean/Jensen for me? Come on, guys, pretty please? I just want to see him all tied up...
4) Last night was laundry day. My functional bras were all wet, so I selected a pretty bra from the drawer. Husband asked why I didn't wear it more often. Being extremely well endowed, I bounced for him and showed him the amazing jiggliness of my bountiful boobs. His reply?
"Don't think of it as non-supportive - think of it as bouncy bouncy fun fun fun fun FUN!"
Sometimes I swear to god I wish we had someone filming us and catching all the funny bits... Like the night a discussion of how men express love turned into a conversation about how much we both love toast. ;)
5) I'm finally getting caught up on emails and found two thought-provoking articles:
Don't Let Stress Get the Best of You by Suzanne Zoglio, Ph.D.
The question is: "Will you take charge and manage your stress... or let it get the best of you?" Assuming you'd prefer to be in the driver's seat, here are three things you can do to keep your stress in check...
The Logic of Letting Go by Bret S. Beall
The concept of "letting go" is very complex (though ironically, the goal/result of "letting go" is simplification). When trying to understand a complex situation, the best first step is to break the problem into easily perceivable pieces. For the sake of this discussion, I will divide the various aspects of "letting go" into three categories: 1) physical, 2) psychological, and 3) spiritual.
Go check them out and let me know what you think...

Date: 2008-04-08 03:37 am (UTC)I was rushing one morning, braless, and I had to hold my tits when I was rushing down the stairs (I'm not as luscious as you, but I do have tits), and I guess my daughter was about 11 or so, and she asked, horrified, "What are you doing?'
I replied, 'I'm keeping my boobs from bouncing too much."
She, shocked and appalled, said, "I never want to grow breasts!"
Of course, now she's got a bigger cup size than me... and waaaaaay nicer bras than I ever had. I so need to buy a few decent bras - wait till I'm off the pill a while and see what size my boobs end up. I'm afraid they're going to wither....
Fucking tits.

Date: 2008-04-08 03:11 pm (UTC)Actually, there *is* a Good Spot right on the sternum that I rather enjoy. Not in the porno-movie tit-fucking way, but from Other Things. And I'll leave it at that.
Nicer bras - do I hear a shopping trip on the way? Yay!
