fic soundtrack question
Sep. 17th, 2008 10:35 amI feel a bit silly for asking this, but I'm going to ask anyway.
I've seen a lot of fics (especially long ones) with "soundtracks" lately. And I thought "oh cool - I'm writing a long fic and maybe I could make one." And then I started gathering possible songs, and, well. Now I'm wondering if there's some process or guidelines or strategy for doing this of which I am unaware.
Have any of you ever made or been involved in making a fic soundtrack?
How did you do it?
Help?

Date: 2008-09-18 09:33 pm (UTC)Well, if it helps (which I'm sure it doesn't), it's the scene I'm currently writing. But it won't be posted for a while, so that's rather like just more teasing.
Sorry. I'm not so much bisexual in practice as I am a relentless and non-gender-discriminating tease. ;)

Date: 2008-09-17 07:47 pm (UTC)When I listen to fic soundtracks, I'll usually just put them on repeat in the background while reading a fic, so for me it's mostly about getting into the same mood the author was in.
