The Year In Review

As always, most of 2008 seems like a big blur at this point. I went to Toronto in May. I published a book in August. I got severely depressed over the summer. I went to England in December.

I must have done more than that...

Good Things
* Discovered a new fandom, complete with swoony RPS
* Started writing a (mostly) monthly Wanton Hussy newsletter
* Published some shorts at Dreamspinner Press (as Alix Bekins)
* Went to Toronto and bothered bitofaspaz and heartofslash
* Made an awesomely labor-intensive coconut cake
* Saw Eddie Izzard
* Made Wanton Hussy website
* Made some mp3s of guided meditations
* Published Wanton Hussy's Guide
* Did a WH workshop
* Saw two giant red octopi dancing around
* Coven got back together
* Made some new friends, in RL and LJ
* Became a Condom Fairy
* Started taking antidepressants
* Went to England and bothered [Bad username or site: londinensa and <lj user=sarka @ livejournal.com] and dissonant_dream and soar38
* Came home

* Work that I didn't do, mostly self-promotion

Resolutions/Plans for 2009
* Get a part time job. Sitting at home geeking all day in my jammies is not good for my mental health.
* Promote my book. For reals.
* Write the workbook for Wanton Hussy's Guide.
* Relax. Breathe. Daydream.
* Do the fun things that make me happy.
* Keep Jazzercising. Start yogaing.
* Garden and decorate and make my house beautiful.
