1) I really really need all of your recs for humorous SGA fics. Slash preferred, but I'll take gen or teamfic, too.

2) I have to officiate a wedding with a costume theme of "1920s". I look *wretched* in those styles, and I wear an 18, which makes costume rentals difficult. I don't even know what to look for. Anyone out there into costuming any have any ideas?

Be cheered. I wear a 24. I'd give anything to wear an 18! Have you seen "Dance your Ass Off?" The latest fatsploitation reality show. But 18 is positively teeny. And they look awesome in their costumes.

I'll have the check out the show. I'm pretty comfortable with my body, but the totally straight silhouette wasn't flattering to anyone but teenage girls. Blech. :P

i myself am a size 32 on the bottom in some clothes and a 26/28 as a general rule on top so i completely know where you're coming from in finding stuff to hire.

i'd kill to be a size 18 though.

Well, Brit sizes are different - I'm a 22-24 there. I bought a pair of 18 jammies over xmas and OMG they were tiny! Thank you for the links - I'll see what I can find to rent, but that gives me a good starting idea. :) The first one is lovely!

Sometimes Rodney would deliberately rearrange the pillows when John was away. He'd move the office candles to the bedroom, and the bedroom candles to the bathroom. Then he'd go through all the drawers and mix one white sock in with all the black socks. The finishing touch was painstakingly moving each piece of furniture two inches to the left.

It took John a few minutes to notice it, but when he did, there was a lot of incoherent screaming. That was the best part.
