1) Holidays = insane. Again. I was going to make presents - and I still plan to - but they may be Chinese New Year presents at this point.
2) Cards = This yeah I'm only doing them for people I have addresses for and talk to a lot. You probably know who you are.
While I love that my f-list is so generous and awesome, I've sent out over 100 cards for the last two years, and I simply can't afford that much postage, let alone the actual cards. My apologies.
3) I haven't written a word in two weeks. I think it's time to find the Viking helmet and go to battle against writer's block.
Mostly it's that my couple is having a very bad spot in their relationship and I love them and don't want them to be sad, but oh, they are sad. Some writers are good at hurting their characters. For me, it feels too personal and I hurt when they do.
4) The thankfulness meme has been kind of amazing. It puts me into a positive-thoughts mood for the rest of the day, and makes me thankful for things I take for granted. I totally recommend it, even if you only do it from now til the end of the month.
