What the heck did I do in 2010?

This year I tried to embrace the philosophy "It is what it is." It actually worked most of the time, and I spent a lot less of this year foundering in anxiety and distress and depression than usual. I went off my antidepressants over the summer and have felt fine without them.

I also quit a job, started working for a publisher, published my first novel, edited an anthology, dressed up like an Orion mother, went to Florida, got involved with the local Diversity/Pride center, taught workshops on "how to write erotica" and "loving your goddess body," married some beloved friends, visited old friends, made new friends, loved, and was loved. A good year. :)

It felt like I didn't write anything *other* than R201 this year, but when I added up they extras,they come to 7 ficlets and 11,523 words. So much for perception. ;)

2005 = 36,484 words
2004 = 48,031 words
2003 = 29,265 words
2002 = ~37,000 words

I didn't! In fact, today I finished chapter 2. But it's not a completed work, so it doesn't count on my lists. I have never ever abandoned a WIP that I started posting, and promise that I never will. :)
