work-life is still in *grump*grump*grump* mode, but my husband brought me a brownie and let me *grump* at him about the idiots here and then we made out and now i feel a lot better. :)

big sur was lovely, and i'll bore you all with pictures once i get them developed. i kind of screwed up the digital camera and only got 4 pictures on it before that.

i had a great time visiting with my friend, lots of good, deep conversations. a really beautiful hike, and a relaxing time at a beach.

i almost finished my current fic and i hope to inflict it on lostiawen for betaing over the weekend.

life feels better than it did. i have a lot more hope that things will get better. hope that i guess i've been lacking for the last 5 months. it's like the world has color and beauty again... nice.

...although not until after I finish the Viggorli that I'm writing for you at the moment :p I discovered the best surefire way of getting inspired: Go away from the internet and go away from the computer. I sat on my hands for two weeks because I didn't have time to write, and now it just flows :D
