Moment of Pause

To that end... I got come concrit on my writing that I think is valid - overuse of passive voice, telling rather than showing. I'd like to improve, but I need some help identifying where I do it and how to rephrase. If there is anyone who feels strong in those areas and has the time and inclination to work with me, comment below or email me @ yahoo, please?

Showing and not telling & passive voice are the two hardest cornerstones of writing. It's the difference between an ok writer and a great writer. I wish I could help,but unfortunately, those areas are the most problematic for me too.

It's a challenge, trying to improve. But the first step is identifying the problems and I have faith they can be overcome. :)

Hiya!

I just spent three days at a local writer's conference attending workshops on "show don't tell", high level editing techniques & the elements of a good critique and would love to keep the momentum going. (It's been a few years but I've been in a critique group before, so am not a virgin. :))
