I won, I won!
Jan. 27th, 2005 08:41 amApparently, there was no doubt in my husband's mind that I would.
See, we bought the LOTR Trivial Pursuit game. (The movie version... I still want the book version, too.) And within 20 minutes of opening the seal on the box, I had all the pie pieces and he had 1. And three years ago, I know I made fun of him for being a scifi/fantasy geek.
In my defense, they were really easy questions. You know, like which actor's lifelong dream was to be in the LOTR movies, how many days it took Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli to catch up with the Urak-Hai, what two weapons did the Balrog carry, what Elven king was killed in the battle that ended the second age, what game Sean Astin played with one of the size doubles on the set, and so on. You know, easy, obvious stuff. *blush*
Apparently, I really am a HUGE GEEK.
At least I got to claim my prize a few hours later, and my throat only hurts a little bit this morning. I guess I got a little loud. Good thing we don't have neighbors. ;)
