1. You're much braver than I am with trying hair colors. What was your favorite hair color/style and why?

Most recently, I have been the happiest with probably the wildest - short curls, bright pink. Which is a bit weird since I LOATHE pink in general, but it worked really well for a hair color and totally cheered me up every time I walked past a mirror. :)

2. If money and family was no object, and you and your husband could afford to live wherever you wanted, where would that be and why?

Somewhere in the UK? I know that's horridly vague, but I haven't ever stayed in any town/city long enough to have a specific preference. Not London, though, since I'm not much of a city girl. Maybe Cambridge or somewhere about that size.

Why? Because I've always been hopelessly in love with anything British. Plus, I'd like a castle. And a British schoolboy all of my very own. :)

3. What appeals to you most about being a librarian? The least?

Geh. Well, I'm kind of having a crisis about career stuff at the moment, and have ever since I've been supposedly working on my thesis. I'm not sure I want to be a librarian any more at all. It seems like just another job, with just as much bureaucracy as my current job and even less funding.

Hm. OK, now why would it be better.... I guess I like that a library is actually actively helping people learn, providing information to people without discriminating based on wealth and access to technology. I guess the public-service aspect of the library's mission is the most appealing part.

4. You're given a chance to work on a small, independent movie starring Viggo Mortensen. What job would you choose for yourself? Co-star? Producer? Director? Writer? Camera-person? Makeup? Something else? Why?

Wow. I'd suck at being an actress, but I'm not sure who else would get to interact with Viggo as much as I'd like. It's too trite to expect him to have any interest in a fling with his make-up assistant, and I can't see him thinking it's a good idea with the producer or director either. I guess writer, since that's honestly the only job I could see myself doing. At least that way we could talk and maybe become friends. And then I would seduce him. ;) Ah, eternal hope.

5. What is the one thing your dog does that makes him unique or seems the most un-dog-like?

Carries two toys around, usually 2 tennis balls, or a tennis ball and a stuffed toy. He'll spend hours trying to get a third toy in his mouth, somehow. :)

Thanks, sweetie! *hugs* I think in an independent production I'd like to be the writer too since there are less creative hands involved and everyone, including the writer, has a more active role in the production. I'd just like to become friends with Viggo though, since I believe his heart lies elsewhere. ;)
